DMA International produces the innovative video dedicated to SPS – The industry automation and digitalisation fair – for the BU Mechatronics division of the Duplomatic Group.

The industry automation and digitalisation fair registered excellent numbers and future prospects. 36,522 visitors, 802 exhibitors.

More than 36,500 visitors made their way through the stands at SPS Italia, amongst an atmosphere charged with the world of industry’s enthusiasm at being united once again in Parma. The fair, which took place from 24 to 26 May, took visitors on a journey into the automation and digitalisation of industry, with stands and District 4.0 showcasing top technologies. Special attention was placed on sustainability, which was a central theme of the new observatory, presented during the opening panel discussion.

Donald Wich, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Italia, expressed his satisfaction following the closure of the event: “we have taken off once again with the right energy, and it was exciting to see the event get back on track and experience the buzz of the fair. This edition really lived up to expectations.”

Marco Vecchio, Secretary of ANIE Automazione commented:
“The 10th edition of SPS Italia has been a great success! There was a strong desire to reconnect with each other after having been isolated for so long, and the large number of visitors was further proof of that. It was interesting to see the many technological innovations presented that bear testament to the constant evolution underway in this field, guided by digitalisation and environmental sustainability. Our association was able to present various new initiatives and we hope that the positive figures presented during the fair regarding this sector will also continue in 2022.”

Duplomatic’s Mechatronics Business Unit exhibits the new sustainable solutions for linear motion at the SPS show in Parma, Italy (Hall 5 – Stand H002).

In the field of electrical actuation, the consolidated series of ISO electric cylinders – also in the version with integrated load cell – for industrial automation, produced at the Rosta (Turin, Italy) headquarters and core business of the division, has recently been joined by new product lines: linear modules, both belt, and screw, linear screw tables both for needs that require a Cartesian XYZ or a seventh axis for handling robots or Cobots, servo presses for heavy applications and a wide range of brushless motors create complete solutions for every application. In the field of industrial automation, Duplomatic will exhibit at SPS electrical solutions for the construction of presses for different applications, featuring three significant innovations: in addition to the mechanical and electronic redesign of the ECF series and to the introduction of the new ECP series for heavy applications, the range of linear axes and tables will be presented.

The ISO ECF series of electric cylinders, with integrated load cells, has been completely renewed at the design level to offer the market an increasingly performing and economically competitive product. In addition, the standardization of components allows Duplomatic to offer rapid deliveries, without giving up the choice offered by the breadth of the range.

A new entry is a series of ECP4 servo presses for heavy use, made with a body entirely in steel and which can integrate ground screws with planetary rollers. The ECP series satisfies the needs of applications that go up to workloads of 20-25 tons, guaranteeing a long life expectancy for the mechanics and a 100% Duty Cycle.

The new range of linear axes and tables, with toothed belt or ball screw drive, is proposed to complement the Duplomatic offer in assembly processes in the world of light industrial automation. Duplomatic also offers brushless motors and high-power drivers, equipped with Safe Torque Off functions and the most popular communication protocols.
Duplomatic thus strengthens its position in the industrial automation sector, proposing itself as a partner for both hydraulic and electrical solutions. Duplomatic will also be present at SPS 2022 at the booth of the Profibus Profinet Consortium as IO-Link competence center in Italy.
